Welcome to the UB Women’s Connection (UBWC) Web Page!
The UB Women’s Connection is a four year research study of nearly 1000 women who started as first-time freshmen college students during the fall of 2004.
We sincerely thank every woman who took the time to complete our Fall web surveys during the past four fall semesters.

During the fall of 2004, 986 women completed our web survey. In the fall of 2007, we had 861 women return to complete the survey. That’s over 87% of the women who originally participated four years ago!
The UBWC web survey will be continuing for an additional fifth year. We have added this extra year in an effort to collect important information from you about your final time at school and/or your transition away from school and on to a new phase in your lives. All participants will be invited to complete the final web survey in September 2008. Participants will receive $30 for completing the survey, and will again be entered into a $500 cash lottery. We hope that you will again be willing to help us with this important project; we appreciate all you have done to make UBWC a success!
We want to give an additional thank you to the women who have participated in the Spring Component of the UBWC Project. Spring 2008 marks the fourth and final year these women will be participating in the daily calling portion of our study.
PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED! We know many of our participants will soon be graduating, and most likely changing their email addresses and phone numbers.
